Unfinished drafts can contain hours of editing, timing, effects, captions, and creative decisions. DraftLockr is focused on a narrow question: can platforms give creators a safe, authorized way to preserve that work without surrendering control of it?

The platform keeps the keys.

The proposed model treats DraftLockr like a secure holding space, not an editor, viewer, or workaround.

Platform seals

The originating platform packages and encrypts the internal draft using its approved format and controls.

DraftLockr stores

DraftLockr holds the opaque package and minimum approved lifecycle information. It does not receive the decryption key.

Platform restores

The platform validates, unlocks, and reconstructs the draft inside its own trusted environment.

Clear trust boundary: draft contents, account context, platform keys, and restore policy remain under platform control.

We built a cooperating Partner Sandbox app to test the boundary a real platform would control. It sealed complete video drafts, handed the encrypted package to DraftLockr, and restored everything on a separate Android device.

What this proves: the architecture works when a platform deliberately provides sealed export and restore access. This test used DraftLockr's Partner Sandbox—not TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram. Cloud account sync is planned; the current cross-device handoff is simulated for laboratory testing.
