DraftLockr has validated a privacy-preserving sealed-draft round trip across two Android devices—without giving the storage layer access to draft contents.
The continuity gap
Unfinished drafts can contain hours of editing, timing, effects, captions, and creative decisions. DraftLockr is focused on a narrow question: can platforms give creators a safe, authorized way to preserve that work without surrendering control of it?
A platform-controlled approach
The proposed model treats DraftLockr like a secure holding space, not an editor, viewer, or workaround.

The platform validates, unlocks, and reconstructs the draft inside its own trusted environment.

We built a cooperating Partner Sandbox app to test the boundary a real platform would control. It sealed complete video drafts, handed the encrypted package to DraftLockr, and restored everything on a separate Android device.

Complete videos and app-specific edit data were sealed together.
The app stored and moved the package without opening its contents.
A separate Android device received the same encrypted package.
All videos, trims, text, stickers, framing, and timing returned.
What this proves: the architecture works when a platform deliberately provides sealed export and restore access. This test used DraftLockr's Partner Sandbox—not TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram. Cloud account sync is planned; the current cross-device handoff is simulated for laboratory testing.
What exists today
The Android prototype now demonstrates both local video protection and a complete cooperating-platform sealed-draft round trip.
Select multiple creator videos, review them, and protect local copies in a private on-device vault.
A cooperating test platform encrypted multiple editable drafts, stored them through DraftLockr, and restored them on another Android device.
The intended product experience will sync opaque packages through a DraftLockr account so creators can restore them on a new device.
Connecting to private in-app drafts requires an approved platform interface. DraftLockr does not bypass that boundary.
Built from the boundary inward
No plaintext draft content or platform encryption keys are needed by DraftLockr.
No scraping, private-storage access, format reverse engineering, or sandbox bypassing.
The goal is continuity for legitimate creator work while preserving platform security and policy.
